Soft brake with 2007 Honda odyssey. Couldn't stop the car without slamming the brake. Took back to dealer where the car was purchased and was told the brake is fine. Took it to another dealer and they bled the brake but no improvement. Honda needs to recall or refund under lemon law. *tr

2007 Honda odyssey brakes were spongy from day one. Inquired at the dealer and they said its normal 10k. I hate the brakes on the van since they do not stop when you want them too. Also having problems with rotors now which are warped I guess at 20k.the steering vibrates when braking. It should never happen to a newer car. All owners need to concern this problem with Honda for an recall for safety and product failure. *tr

"takata recall" my van has long braking response since I bought it, I've changed all rotors and pads, bled the system, and the brake is still soft, I check online, and there are a lot of people having the same problem

I was trying to trying to stop my 2007 Honda odyssey very quickly to avoid hitting the car in front of me and hit the brakes only to have nothing happen. The car wouldn't stop until it hit the car in front - the pedal was to the floor. I had previously talked with Honda about the brake pads and researched online and discovered "squishy" brake problems, but no solutions. After the accident I talked with Honda who was just releasing a safety recall for low/soft brake pedal : "air may enter the modulator due to improper sealing material of the vsa modulator control unit". They bled brakes using special procedure and installed (2) modulator sealing caps over the two (2) plugs on the sides of the vsa modulator-control unit to correct per bulletin 1030a5 (element) .6 & 4130a5 (odyssey) .7. *tr

After installing new set of 4 tires for my Honda odyssey and have the tires balance and align by professional goodyears service mechanics. I can feel the Mini van keep pulling to the left pretty fast and dangerously. I talk to the wheel shops manager, and there is nothing they can do since the wheel alignment is fine. After looking at this issues online, I see lots of people who own 2007 Honda odyssey have the same issues and turn out to be issues with the factory installed spring and strut that need to be aligned and fixed. I almost got into an accident due to the car sudden turn to the left without any kind of warning on hwy 85. *tr

My Honda odyssey shuts off completely while driving, at that time you can't turn the steering wheel (or it is very very hard to turn). This is preceded by usually the lights on dashboards flashing. Sometimes it will shut off (dashboard will go black) and come right back after few seconds. Other times the I have to stop and turn it on again and it works. Yesterday it turned off and the car came to stop then I moved the battery little and the hazard light started flashing. When it's completely dead even hazard light would not blink. Today it happened again and even after moving the battery it did not get power back. I had left the hazard light on but it was not blinking. However after around 5 minutes or so on it's own the hazard light started blinking and I could drive off.

After driving apx. 50 miles most of them at highway speeds upon exiting the highway and waiting to make a turn I heard a loud whining noise from under the hood. When I tried to turn it was difficult to do so. The noise continued and the vehicle was difficult to turn at times as if you had loss power assit. I parked the van and ckecked the power steering fluid level, level was good, but it looked foamy. The van sat for apx. 3 hours I checked the fluid again and it looked normal. After starting the van the noise was not as pronounced and steering seemed ok, but after making the 50 mile return trip home the same problem returned. After checking the internet I find this is a problem Honda is aware of since they have issued at least two service bulletins 07-005 and 10-076 to address the problem

While driving vehicle check engine light came on and car was running very poorly.
