Driving car w/ approximately 1/4 tank shown on fuel gage and car stopped. Tried to start and car appeared to not have any fuel. Filled tank with fuel and car started. Happened again on 2 more occasions, each team seeming to stop with higher level on fuel gage. Problem appears to be getting worse. Looked for recall on this item and identified problem on numerous other Nissan models and several complaints from other customers not covered by recall. *tr

2007 Nissan quest dash/cluster control reports incorrect fuel gauge causing multiple, out of fuel/empty fuel tank scenarios. One scenario occurred while driving at night with family and reported 1/4 tank 76 mile til empty. Nissan claimed the car was out of warranty. *tr
Inaccurate fuel gauge. When gauge shows 1/4 tank ran out gas.
I just purchased my 2007 Nissan quest in may and after a month it started dying on me as I was driving. It was out of gas but said it had plenty of gas in it. It isn't consistent either, I could have the gas gauge at 1/8 of a tank and it would still be running or it would read above 1/4 of a tank and it would be dead on the side of the road. The dte gauge says I have another 60+ miles to go when it dies. I am tired of running out of gas because my gas gauge doesn't work correctly. *tr

Van started to develop a jerk when shifting from park to drive after vehicle has warmed up. Was told it needed motor mount and spent $2300 at Nissan on friday 11/30/12 to have several repairs including the front motor mount. No jerking after work was done until sunday , 12/2/12. On monday 12/3/12 after driving my children to school, I put the vehicle in park to open the power side doors to let them out. When shifting back into drive the vehicle jerked violently and lurched forward about 2 feet. I did not hit the vehicle in front of me but had there been someone walking between the front of my vehicle and the back of the vehicle in front of me, I probably would have hit them. I don't think it is a major safety issue but there could be a hazard if the vehicle jerks forward at the wrong
My 2007 Nissan quest with144,500 miles, has a real bad clunking sound when accelerating, decelerating, or taking off from a standstill. A mechanic told me that it is from bad motor mounts. When accelerating or braking, the motor moves a lot. It does not make any more noises when turning, mainly win braking and accelerating, but also when the transmission shifts up or down a gear.
A hose that moves antifreeze coolant into vehicle I believe to be caked a vacuum hose fell off causing coolant to leak out completely... In addition the vehicle accelerates for no reason and jerks.. I was told to replace ask motor mounts which I did and still issue persists .. Now check engine light is on and stating the solenoids in transmission need to be replaced... Van loses power unexpectedly. . This happens while driving mostly at low speeds
While driving, the transmission started jerking and more often than not slams into gear. Makes an awful banging noise when this happens. Losing trans fliud, seems like we are going through jugs of fluid. Also had a coolant leak, even after having new radiator installed, still smell coolant and it's been a while when the care is being checked, mechanic can't seem to replicate the problem. Very frustrating and scary when you're driving. Happens more so when highway driving or if the car has been running for some time.

On more than one occasion my wife and young son became stranded by the vehicle running out of gas while the gas gauge read up to 3/8 of a tank and onboard computer told us 60+ miles remaining before empty. I see this has happened to others and my experiences mirror those that are already reported. Hopefully the investigation will proceed quickly and this matter will be resolved soon so I can trust this vehicle again. *tr
Fuel level gauge says a little less than 1/4 tank when fuel tank is empty. This inaccurate fuel level gage has stranded my wife 5 times since we've had the vehicle. Last time it was right after passing a truck on a two lane road, creating an unsafe condition. *tr
This is further to my complaint about incorrect fuel gauge reading and running out of gas three times when both the fuel gauge and digital display have told me that I had between 80 and 130 miles of travel left to travel. Low fuel or reserve light never illuminated. My service light came on and I connected my car md reader to the vehicle data connection and ran the diagnostic on it came back with the following report. I hope this will help, stored codes are conditions that your vehicle reported after your check engine light was set. Carmd uses these codes to accurately identify a most likely repair or "cure". There is no accident yet and wish not to happen anything like that. The car's fuel level gauge is malfunction since this month, december 2014 and I got a code for p0462. I found that it is very common troublesome in Nissan vehicles and many of their models are in recall but not 2007 Nissan quest yet. I also learned that this vehicle is under investigate for this matter. Please process it soon. *tr
I was driving at 45 MPH and pressed the gas. It was early sunday morning, very light traffic. I pressed the gas pedal to accelerate and did not hear the engine respond. I looked at my gauges and the tachometer was at 0. I realized the engine was not running. I tried revving the gas pedal but nothing happened. I managed to guide my car off the road into an entrance road to a business. I put the car in park and attempted to start it. The engine turned over but would not catch. The gas gauge showed a quarter of a tank and no light was on. I called my wife and she brought a gas can. I poured it the gas. The car immediately started. I went to a gas station. The car took 19 gallons. The capacity was 20 gallons so the car was empty. I have been monitoring since. On a typical week

During cold weather the back, sliding, doors freeze shut. It takes a very long time for them to "defrost" and be opened. Additionally, I have a small child in a carseat and I need to climb through to the back seats from the front to buckle them in. Lastly, when the doors do finally thaw the "door ajar" light comes on and I need to pull over and open/close it. *tr
Driving with cruise control on highway. Moved feet to under knees position to relax. Loop behind right running style shoe got hooked on seat slide lever. Had to use left foot to brake. *tr

While braking, especially when braking at highway speeds: ' a steering wheel shake, ' body vibration ' brake pedal pulsations . *tr
Took my 2007 Nissan quest in to the Nissan dealership for a rattle, vibration and pulsing out of the front end. Service writer tells me it's a timing chain (not belt) that needs to be replaced. I asked him if that was the noise I heard (I didn't think that was the issue) and I was told they weren't sure and that probably wasn't the noise I was hearing. I left the dealership only to have the vibrations worse, noise more pronounced and the thought of a 2000.00 bill on the horizon for a timing chain. The vehicle seems to push and constantly pull to the left. Alignment and new tires had no effect at all. Sometimes the van seems unstable at entry highway speeds. Nissan usa clearly doesn't care so I'm hoping you might be able to do something with them. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2007 Nissan quest. While driving and making a right turn, the vehicle stalled without warning and the steering wheel became difficult to maneuver. The vehicle was able to be coasted to the side of the road. The contact waited for a minute and was able to drive the vehicle; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for diagnostic testing, but a failure code could not be found. The contact called ferman Nissan at (913) 933-6641 (located at 11001 n florida ave, tampa, fl 33612) and was informed to schedule an appointment. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer due to the diagnostic and repair fees. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage and VIN were unknown.

Driving approximately 45 MPH, and engine stalled and cut out. Lost power steering and power brakes. Needed to make evasive moves to avoid accident and get off road. Car ran out of gas. Dashboard fuel gauge said 1/4 tank of gas. Onboard trip display said zero (0) distance till empty, but I do not use this. I had to get assistance and 1 put less than 1 gallon gas in car. Fuel gauge did not move and still says there is 1/4 tank gas, while trip computer registered above 0 dte. This is extremely dangerous to lose control of vehicle unexpectedly. I have been driving for over 27 years and have never run out of gas and have always relied on the gauge, not the trip computer. Please investigate and let me know what I should do. This is a very dangerous situation. I had 2 kids in the car, an
