Fuel pump short circuit. After pumping gas the truck will not turn on. Short circuit from the pump to the starter. After turning the key to power on the truck all the gas spilled from underneath. I drove to my kids school at 230pm , after leaving powered on the truck to roll the window down and thats when all the gas spilled from underneath.
I have a 2009 Chrysler aspen that has been at the dealership since the end of february when the truck dropped dead for the last time. Around six months into my ownership the vehicle started dropping dead at around 65 MPH. The truck has been in shop several times for the bump and stop and drop dead issue. Persistent dead 12v battery. Even after replacing the battery, truck will be dead within 24 hours of not being driven. All lights are off and keys removed. Battery will be dead in a less than a day after running just fine requires a 2 second jump from another vehicle to start. .
