2009 GMC yukon xl, 61000 miles. Dash around the airbag and all over the instrument cluster has cracked in multiple places. This vehicle has not been in any accidents and has never been driven off road. It has always been garaged. This is a very common problem with Chevy/GMC trucks. If the airbag deploys there is a very good chance that pieces of the dash will pose a significant hazard to the vehicle occupants.

Like the other 9000 people identified on facebook among other forums, the dash on my yukon is cracked. I am concerned about putting my family in this vehicle. This is a product defect. I wouldn't mind spending the money to put a new one in, but I dont have the confidence the new dash will last any longer. Cracking happens right near the passenger airbag and right in front of the drivers instrument panel.

Noticed huge crack in dash for no apparent reason. Common issue on 2007-2013 vehicles I'm finding out. Concerned with danger of plastic shards causing serious injury if airbags are deployed. Vehicle had never been in accident and has low milage and kept up well. Gm has offered little help. *js

I came out to a cracked dashboard this morning. The crack is right around the airbag and I'm concerned the cracked dash can either punture the airbag if deployed or send plastic peices flying at a high rate of speed

The door handles on both the driver and passenger side have become so sharp that when trying to open the door they cut your finger. Both my wife and I have had our fingers cut from slight to very bloody. This appears that it is an ongoing problem that gm refuses to deal with. *tr

My dash cracked in several areas, in front of steering wheel and passenger side. Long growing cracks that are probably affecting air bag deployment. This car has always been kept in the garage!! No reason for it to crack and many others have had the same complaints.

While driving from ga to la on christmas eve, my yukon xl went into reduced engine power and lost traction control and antilock brakes. The car almost instantly dropped from 72mph to 45mph and the check engine and traction control warning lights came on. I was advised by onstar to pull the car over and turn it off for a few minutes. When I started it again, power was restored, but the check engine warning light remained. I was advised that the car would probably do the same thing and that I should have it serviced immediately, on the next business day, which was monday december 27th. While driving to a destination about 30 miles away on sunday, the car went into reduced power again and the warning lights returned. This time turning the engine off for a few minutes did not help and power re

My 2009 GMC yukon xl has had multiple issues with the "reduced power" message. Not only is this affecting the driveability of our vehicle but also the safety of my family since this is our family car and my wife usually is driving it with out four children in it. It all started in august when the reduced power message came on for my wife with service stabilitrac and traction control, while she was driving our kids to school. The dealer said it was "rodent damage" to the throttle body wiring and replaced the connector. About a month later the same exact thing happened when she was going home from the kids school. The code that was scanned was p0335 crankshaft position sensor failure. The crankshaft position sensor was unplugged and reseated and the lights went away. On 10/6 the ligh
