The check engine light came on, then it would go off, on again, off again. The code was p000017. They said the timing chain needed to be fixed. This caused a recall in the 2004-2009 srxs and yet I see there are multiple complaints for the same thing for the 2010s and no recall. There are only 113k miles on this car, that's about 13k per year, mainly highway miles. This should not happen.…
