2013 Kia Soul owner complaints

We were driving I-15 nb in san bernardino county california. We were heading uphill on a grade at approximately 45 miles per hour when suddenly the vehicle lost power. We pulled to the shoulder and before we could get out of the car the engine compartment had caught fire. The whole car was engulfed in flames within 30 seconds. There was no collision and no prior warning of any issues. This happened in february of 2016

2013 Kia soul. Consumer writes in regard to illuminated check engine light. The vehicle is sluggish and has blue smoke coming from the exhaust and won't hold oil for any period of time.

I believe my catalytic converter. My engine light came on and I took it to AutoZone and they put it on the tester and they said it was my catalytic converter.

Bought this car for my teenage daughter. Rod broke, punctured the engine block, which caused the oil leaked out and it caught fire with my daughter and her friends in the car.

Engine began making ticking noises while stationary and while driving and engine check light came on. Took it to dealer; dealer changed oil & filter and said problem was bad oil filter causing low oil pressure. Engine check light came on again a few weeks later. Returned to dealer; technician has found metal shavings in the oil and expects complete engine failure in the future.

The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that they would not honor the recall since the contact was the

Has a thud while turning the steering wheel left and right at a stop. Steering wheel shakes and vibrates when droving over bumpy road or train tracks. Steering for now unaffected.

I have a Kia soul 2013 I noticed a clucking noise in the stearing collum when it is stationary postion also the collum seems to have alot of play in it . I notice if I hit a bump in road it ratals . I have made an appointment with dealer next week. I have been reading all about these issuse from si many people . I cant beleive that Kia has not done something abiut this . I drive my. 94 year old mother around in this car . I am going to contact a layer or a news station about this . This is a very dangerous issue that needs to be addressed properly. . I will see what lokey Kia saids about this and see where it takes me . I only have about 37000 miles on car bought it in 2015 dec. It had 21000 then .

2013 Kia soul is making a clicking noise when I turn my steering wheel. It makes one click noise once I start turn the wheel. When I stop moving it and try to move it again it clicks. Vehicle mileage: 63,667

The dealer originally said it was the steering coupler that was bad and needed replaced for $2000. Then they call back two weeks later to say the steering assist motor was bad and it needs to be replaced for an additional $2400. Still waiting for the parts and repairs. I see many other complaints on the steering, should this be a recall?

Nearly totalled Kia soul 2013, engine lost compression, then stalled. In the middle of highway, Preventing me to exit or stop, since brakes dont work when car isn't running.towwed it to dealership, they claim that it's part of recall sc176, which states engine failure, because of defect in motor, yet claim mine isn't part of recall, 19v120000

The recall for my vehicle happened weeks ago and there is still no solution. This is a fire hazard and the only vehicle I own. I need this fixed asap

I was involved in a head on collision with a 2001 Jeep cherokee which turned left in front of me as I traveled in the straight lane. My speed was approximately 40mph. The entire front of my vehicle is caved in, but none of my airbags deployed. Both of the airbags in the other vehicle deployed. *tr
