CVT transmission start shuddering then and b/4 at 40 to 50 miles per hour Toyota mfg refuses to repair.car only has 58k miles! Almost lost control driving.telling me I have to buy at dealer for $7.300 happens at all times wherever ! Please help us since we are both retried seniors. Alfred
After stopping at intersection, then step on gas to turn right, car makes the turn out into the road, but then engine begins to rev as if the transmission has shifted into neutral. After letting off the gas pedal for a second or two the car will recover and act normally. This is very dangerous when pulling onto a busy street.
Torque Converter started shuddering a couple of weeks ago. I was stranded in busy intersection for just long enough to scare me into understanding that this issue is dangerous. I found that Toyota had issued LSC E03 - Limited Service Campaign and I was not notified. There was no recall. Instead there was a window of time that I missed, apparently. How many 100's of thousands of Camry's are having this same issue but were unable to afford the cost after Toyota's Warranty Extension ended? I would bet it's alot. This will impact young peoples, and the working poor especially hard because they are the ones buying used cars, and they typically don't have the time or the money for expensive repairs. Even if the repairs are for safety. So, they will be driving the cars with a known safet
This vehicle hesitates for 4 seconds when transmission switches gears. Car was taken back to dealer and after 2 software updates and a new torque converter they said the car couldnt be fixed. This car is dangerous and will most definitely cause an accident rear end collision.
When I get to 20 MPH my car will loose power for just a second or two.

My wife has a 2013 camry with 28,000 miles. We have been having a issue with the brake light switch which also works with the antilock brakes and the shifter. My wife was at work late and could not get it out of park. I did some research and found the switch and tapped on it and if finally allowed us to get it home.
Cannot buy a future new car since they are keyless! Both of us are profound hard of hearing and cannot hear engine running in garage !

My 2013 Toyota camry se, behaves this way almost every day. The accelerator hesitates/vibrates when I step on the gas, when the vehicle is picking up speed between 35 to 45 MPH. It usually happens when am picking up from a complete stop, either at a stop sign or when the vehicle was parked for a while. I also notice it happens only when the speed is picking up from a complete stop. It may delay for 1-2 seconds intermittently but stops once it 50 MPH or more.
Sound in radio suddenly just went out and did some reading on the web and see other people with same make and model are having the same problem

My car when you make sharp left turn rear right suspension making wheel play. The rear right wheel slips in snow and icy roads, I took to Toyota dealer twice they said they didn't notice any of my complaint but they aligned the rear wheels. My car still is making a movement in the rear right suspension which is causing my a bad handle over correctin my steering wheel. I wish I can get help any one have an idea.
