Ignition randomly will not start. Mechanics can not locate the issue only stating that it is traced back to an unknown electrical problem. I've heard about this same issue from other fellow qx80 owners. Again this is random and can happen for days at a time and then not at all for a week and then resurface. My family and I have been stranded in inclement weather, dangerous areas of unknown cities…
The car is having issues with the battery not keeping a charge. Spring 2018 took the car to the dealership several times, battery, starter, alternator checks out ok but even after replacing a cracked battery in summer 2018 with a new now march 2019 the 7th month old battery does not work. My car will not start without a charge when stationary.
