2015 Honda Fit owner complaints

The guage that reads the mileage and gas level in the dashboard is glitching excessively. There will be times the screen is completely blank. Other times it is unreadable. It happens whether the car is newly turned on, being driven, or if I restart the car. Was also not fixed with a new battery. It began a couple times in 2017 and it is now turning into a daily occurrence.

The information dash which shows fuel reading, odometer, oil life, and trip is not displaying correctly. The characters are scrambling and unable to see the available fuel amount. The problem is intermittent but getting worse.

The multi-information display" (MID) which indicates information like the odometer, trip meter, outside temperature, fuel economy, and warning messages goes blank or presents as gibberish. It may only "come to life" randomly.

Three issues rod nocking at start up paint peeling on top roof by windshield and starting to rust windshield safety is compromised buy the rust and should be recalled I was denied a recall for the paint blue low temperature coolant light is on dash with a ambient temp of 55degrees when cold for first couple off minutes of driving can be a problem with the temp not reading right to warn driver of the true coolant temp and or can cause excessive emissions for the engine not to read right and enrichen the mixture which could be the cause of the rod nick possibly gas washed the main bearings in engine

When I turn on my car, the odometer no longer displays information. Every once in a while, it will flicker and glitch and sometimes come back. However, most of the time, I am unable to see my fuel gauge, which is a safety issue. This started back in november 2019, and it now happens every day.

Fuel injectors failed at 104,000 causing a $2k+ repair. Routine maintenance was followed per the manual.the push button start also failed at the same time. I believe these issues speak to the poor build quality at the plant in mexico and represent a small portion of the issues inherent in this vehicle.

UNKNOWN- Vehicle gas gauge cuts off all of a sudden and takes a while to come back on.

The instrument cluster that shows the odometer and fuel gauge randomly doesn't appear when I turn on my car. It usually happens when it is cold outside (less than 55-ish). The screen will turn on sometime after driving 4-10 miles. At first the screen will look garbled, but then it will be fine. It looks like a ton of people are reporting this problem.

My 2015 Honda fit ex started experiencing technical issues at 25k miles. My alternator was replaced and now at 45k miles I need the fuel injectors replaced. The Honda dealership is asking for $2300 to fix it. Non-powertrain warranty has expired

Upholstery on both of the front seats is fraying (in spots) after normal use. *tr

UNKNOWN- 2015 Honda Fit has been driving perfectly until 2 days ago I came to a red light and it lost power and shut off. Waited for a few hours cranked and shuts off.

P0303 misfire cylinder 4; checked live data, all cylinders misfiring. Recommended to replace all fuel injectors and fuel pipe due to "known issues with direct fuel injectors" as stated by Honda dealership. Car idles roughly. Car lost power while accelerating to highway speeds, causing stall on highway. Additional engine codes indicate fuel problems - p2906 and p0172. Replacement of damaged ignition coils and sparks plugs also required.

While parking the car in the parking space, it suddenly self-accelerated, jumped the curb, and crashed into the wall in front of the car resulting in injuries to both the driver (2 fractured neck vertebrae, 3 fractured ribs on right side, and broken left foot) and passenger (laceration to right hand and bruised ribs on left side). The acceleration was too fast for either the driver or passenger to respond. Airbags did not deploy, and the car was considered a total loss due to the extensive damage to the front end.

My Honda dealership told me that my car could not be properly aligned without a shim which the service department could not get their hands on. They had tried several providers. They stated "this must be a recurring problem with this make/model car." this, after being told that I must replace two tires due to excessive wear. I had replaced all four tires @ 34,520 miles, and now at 58,867 I was needing to replace two tires again. They said that because of the toe, I was essentially dragging my rear tires causing excessive wear and tear. Not to mention reducing gas mileage. This appears to be a manufacturing issue after looking on-line at whether or not other's are experiencing the same issue. Please look into this.

After two trips to the Honda dealer, water continues to accumulate on the floor behind the driver seat, whenever the car is driven through heavy rains. We now have another half quart of water on the floor behind the drivers set, and believe there is a serious defect in our 2015 Honda fit (a six speed). This much water on the floor can lead to rust, mold, electrical, and mildew/ problems and we feel a need to report the problem we are having. Dealers tend to suggest that car owners are dopes who leave their rear windows open in the rain when this type of thing happens, but that is not the case. I have had 2 flat tires in the past month all showing a significant gouging tear on the inner facing side of each tire. The first one was replaced by aaa as a defective tire, but after the 2nd flat, my aaa repair guy mentioned it could likely be a manufacturing defect with some part of the car or axle scraping against the inner side of the tire. The first one was my front right and the current flat tire I'm dealing with is the rear left tire. There's nothing obviously visible as the cause of what could be scraping against the wheels. As the picture below shows, the scrape is in a clear circular line which seems to indicate a stationary part on the car scraping or cutting into the inner side of the wheel. The seat belt buckles in the back seat on both the driver's side and in the center of back seat are reversed. It creates confusion. Rear passengers have to cross seat belts to buckle. I worry this might affect seat belt tension with hard braking or a crash, thereby creating a safety hazard. *js

In mid 2019 my Honda had a little rear end problem. Took it to a frame shop and was told my REAR AXLE BEAM ASSEMBLY was bent 3° which was causing front end alignment problems. When they used there machines and whatever else they tried was told there machinery couldn't make it budge.(front end alignment at least 2 times a month) Then in 2020 I went to start my car and nothing!! Kept trying and trying and finally it started. Continued to what I thought was my car just having a mind of its own to continuously not wanting to start so I checked my battery which was fine. I took the car to a Honda Dealership and was told I needed a new battery. Ok fine whatever then after the new battery was hooked up and they went to start it nothing!! Hours later here I am buying a starter (fixed the problem
