I purchase this car used from a dealer. the transmission failed at 87564 miles. i had the a new transmission installed. The gear box or shifter failed at 91231 miles. I had that repaired. The timing chain started to fail at 100432 miles. this issue would cause the car to stall randomly. This I feel is a safety issue. "needs to be extended." the american automaker has announced that certain 2011-2013 model year vehicles will get warranty extensions because the left cylinder heads might crack. Chrysler will extend the engine warranty on the left-side cylinder head to 10 years or 150,000 miles and the remaining engine components will continue to be covered by the standard five-year, 100,000-mile powertrain warranty. According to Chrysler, roughly 7,500 engines were susceptible to the cylinder head failure and was first discovered in 2012. (this is an ongoing problem that clearly still has not been corrected even for 2018-2019 models.) fca rejects this as in my question to them concerning this exact matter. Re: case # [xxx] thank you for allowing fca customer care an opportunity to address your concer

Last oct./nov. I had to have the left axle cv joint replaced in my Ram promaster city while in arizona. Yesterday the local dealer informed me that all three parts of this axle now need to be replaced. Both times the local Dodge dealer did the work. I am worried about the safety of this vehicle. Both times this happened I was away from home traveling on interstate highways

Experiences dangerous stalling and loss of electrical power to engine during driving. This can cause a serious accident. This is specifically a symptom of one of the many recalls supposedly performed on this vehicle already. I believe the recall repair previously was not completed properly because I have experienced this 10 times in the past two weeks.

Speedometer is recessed into dashboard and not visible in daylight. Dash lighting is set at max. Dealer has no solution.
This is the 2nd recalled noticed I've received, took a month to get the first recall done. Was told to called back once I get the 2nd recall notice b/c they ran out of the part. Did so but the service rep doesn't know anything about this recall notice. Yet again I am waiting for them to call back to schedule what I assume a month out again in order for them to have the part
The backup camera on our Ram is currently inverted. I am not sure if it is available for inspection. It makes it hard to see what is behind us when backing up. We received a notice about a recall concerning this issue but I do not see it mentioned on your website when looking up the vehicle. No warnings prior to it messing up. This has been a problem since we received the vehicle.

The dash lights are not bright enough to be able to easily read the information. If you wear sunglasses, you must remove your sunglasses in order to attempt to read the speedometer or other information, because it is too dim. The dash is dimly lit and does not have enough contrast. When it is overcast, the dash is barely readable. When it is sunny or bright outside, the dash is impossible to see. This is dangerous, because it takes the driver's eyes off of the road for too long. Having the dimmer switch set to full bright does not make a difference. We have been to the dealer about this issue, and they have been unable to resolve the issue. This has been an ongoing problem since the vehicle was purchased on 5/18/17. Attached are a picture of the dash when it is sunny and a picture when
About every 3 months we are having to replace light bulbs in either headlamp. One or the other keeping burning out. We replace the bulbs together and use gloves as to not destroy the bulb. We just had the van into the dealership again on oct. 5, 2018 for this problem. They ran a check on the wiring system and found nothing. Then sunday the one bulb went out again and we replaced it. This is a safety issue that needs address.
The problem I'm having with my truck is I can't keep a head light from burning out. I just had one quit that was a month old. I've been using the spec. lamp from Sylvania H7. What really sucks about this is in the past 2 years I've installed at least 7 or 8 head lamps, and at a cost of $45 to $55 bucks each it's Bull#@#$. Why can't Dodge come up with a better head lamp.
