Today I started to develop a whining noise and the steering has started to become increasingly harder to turn in the past week. It is hard to turn at low speeds. I live in cold climate with snow and ice conditions.when in motion, usually when the engine has reached running temperature is when the issues tend to occur. I notice it happens more often if there is ice build up on the rims causing an imbalance in the wheels but happens when the car is free of any ice or snow build up. The results of this is out of no where engine power is reduced,stability trak , park assist exct. Warning lights come on.
