Daimler Vans USA, LLC (DVUSA) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Mercedes-Benz Metris vehicles
An unexpected loss of power steering assist can increase the risk of crash.

Wheel speed sensors appear to fail on a routine basis (every 0-10 months), similar to the subject of recall 21V-042 on Sprinter vans. Sensor failure disables most safety features of vehicles including ABS, blind spot warning, assisted steering, and other safety features. The vehicle is unsteady wably fear of freeway driving vehicle does not appear to steer exactly where it is intended. Wheels feel much too small for vehicle. Took car in on 2023 was told recall is not activated. I can’t do freeway driving I am fearful in vehicle. Dealership only does related items for out of pocket expenses problem not solved
