Hello i was driving this morning with my alfa rimeo stelvio on freeway going 65 approximately and just heard explosion like granate or gun shot wich triger my anxiety and ptsd i have trauma from war back home when i was kid i stoped and was looking what happen and heard noise from outside and figured that was sun roof just ecploded randomly i dont knkw is there any legal action or anything becouse this is not right at all and looking onkine a lot ppl complain about that issue

Driving on the highway at 60mph, my sunroof exploded very unexpectedly and very loudly. It shattered along the front and sides but not anywhere at the center. Sunroof was closed and had only been used 1 time in the month I had the vehicle. Nothing hit me as no vehicles were anywhere near. The dealership managment is saying it had to be caused externally yet their own technicians said it was defective.

I received Safety Recall 25V-586 regarding the fuel pump defect on my 2019 Alfa Romeo Stelvio. The notice states that the vehicle can lose drive power without warning, which could lead to a crash. However, the letter also says that the remedy for this condition is not currently available. I am extremely concerned for my safety because I rely on this vehicle for daily driving, and I do not feel it is safe to operate a car that could suddenly lose power at any time. The manufacturer has acknowledged the risk, but no repair or interim solution has been provided. I have also noticed occasional hesitation and reduced power while driving, which makes me worry that the issue may already be occurring. Fuel pump failed as in recall 25V586000 , vehicle stalled in middle of an intersection of a busy road , could not get vehicle into neutral to push out of road. Manufacturers recall does not include my vehicle vin (yet)

My car stopped and would not turn back on while in the middle lane of a busy highway. We were stopped on the highway >20min until police arrived to block the lanes so we could safely exit the vehicle and a tow truck could safely retrieve it. The ground strap underneath the vehicle that grounds the main engine harness was broken. As a result the electrical short resulted in burning/melting of several spots on the harness. There was no warning ahead of time and I’ve learned that this is a known issue. We are very lucky that this did not lead to a crash, injury or death.

The vehicle has been in the shop since August 2025 attempting to be fixed. I have been making monthly payments and have not been offered any rental assistance or vehicle loaner assistance. My vehicle has multiple safety recalls and no current remedy.

I purchased my car in jan. 2020. On june 21, 2020, I awoke to my alarm going off. I tried to use my key fob to turn that alarm off and it did. Not work. The alarm stopped and I had to use the hard key to enter my car. The car would not start and I had to get a jump from aaa. The car was new with less than 3000 miles on it. I took it to the dealer to for a diagnostic and they kept it for 5 days. They had to replace the BCM. The BCM was listed as problem in prior year versions of this vehicle. This appears to be a continuing problem with this vehicle. The vehicle was parked and was not being disturbed when the alarm went off.

A corroded faulty ground strap under the car, which is connected to the transmission caused the engine wiring harness to overload a smaller ground wire in the wheel well, then continued to melt other sections of the main engine wiring harness when trying to start the car. This is only a $200 part, but caused $6k+ of damages calling for a labor intensive job of replacing the entire engine wiring harness. The manufacturer does not provide any information on this to the owner as a maintenance issue or something to keep an eye on to prevent this issue. It's obviously a defect.

The engine cooling hose is failing and may be made of similar materials under the same recall as the Stelvio Qudrofiligo NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID Number: 18V635000. Mine has a leak which can cause a loss of coolant and cause a crash. The engine cooling hose may have inadequate webbing material allowing a coolant leak.

The vehicle randomly has a yellow A! error code, then it loses power while driving, when going up a hill, sometimes barely makes it. No mechanics can figure this out and its a topic of complaints amongst numerous forums regarding this vehicle. Why isn't there a recall on this?
