The top moonroof spontaneously shattered and is in a compressed upward position. Nothing impacted it from beneath and glass fell on my infant daughter who was secured in her car seat.

The vehicle’s forward collision warning / rear cross-traffic warning system is falsely detecting obstacles while I am driving down a normal residential driveway. The driveway has a gentle slope overall, with a slightly sharper angle right at the point where it meets the street. As I begin to move down the driveway—both in Drive and Reverse—the vehicle emits warning beeps and then suddenly and aggressively applies the brakes on its own, even though the path is completely clear. The braking is abrupt and forceful, and the system appears to misinterpret the brief angle change at the curbline as an obstacle. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. This malfunction puts my safety and the safety of others at risk because the unexpected hard stop could cause a collision or loss of
Please remove the alert “Consider a break”. This alert is very annoying and distracting. My opinion it does nothing for the safety of the vehicle. At the time I purchased the vehicle I was not advised about the alert. Had I known prior to purchase, I would have passed on the purchase. Please do something to remove or delete the aforementioned alert.
My son and I were driving down the interstate and all of a sudden we heard a loud boom. It felt like something hit the vehicle, but it was more like an explosion. I thought possibly a rock or something hit the back of my car, but that didn’t make any sense. There were no vehicles or bridges around us. I was two minutes from home so I drove home and when I pulled in the driveway, I heard a cracking noise. When I parked, we got out to investigate and determined that the cracking was coming from the moon roof. It was actively cracking. This is exactly what has happened to Palisades in the past with the exploding sunroof/moonroof.
I have an ongoing safety concern on my vehicle, seemingly having to do with the brakes or ABS malfunction. There is a delay in the breaking of the vehicle occasionally in specific circumstances. Typically in a parking lot or stop sign, if there is a buckling of the road or potholes or uneven surfaces between the tires, the vehicle will skid over the surfaces and braking is delayed. Events have occurred 8 documented times and a few more during my ownership of the vehicle. Because this typically happens at a stop sign and the car has driven through the stop sign the issue could absolutely cause a multi exhale accident. Because this issue is surface specific, it is difficult to reproduce and the dealership is unable to find the root cause and fix the vehicle. During the two service visit
I smell gasoline through the AC vent at every stop when I drive the car locally at low speed (under 50 mph) after the car has been parked overnight. The smell eventually goes away after driving a while, but it comes back the next day when the car has been parked overnight. I feel like the smell is worse as the fuel tank gets lower. I took the car to the dealership and they were not able to identify the problem.

In general even in slow speed the emergency break kicks in and actually the vehicle is sliding and not stopping. Now in the snow when you try to stop again the vehicle is shaking and sliding instead of stopping
Antilock braking system is malfunctioning. Significant increase in stopping distance, and especially on uneven or wet surfaces. The car shutters and shakes while stopping. We have almost hit a deer, had trouble stopping at intersections, and did not stop in a timely manner while behind another vehicle. General fear knowing if brakes are firmly pressed that the car is unable to stop quickly (as expected with other vehicles).
A dangerous and unpredictable braking issue has plagued my brand-new SUV (under 5,000 miles). On multiple occasions, the brakes have engaged suddenly and without warning while driving, causing the vehicle to stop abruptly in the middle of the road. This creates a hazardous situation with the potential for rear-end collisions, putting my family at risk and causing back pain to my passengers. The same problem also occurs when parking. The dealership requires a five-day service appointment, but the lack of any pre-warning lamps or indicators makes this issue especially concerning.
I had brought my car in because it feels like the antilock brakes kick in on uneven surfaces. I was told there is no issue. This happens again 2 days ago. I have had it happen where I almost hit the person in front of me, the car will not stop. Dry roads. It’s on bumpy roads, more often is a slight downhill. No lights on dash for antilock brakes coming on.
seatbelts 3 complaints shown
Vechile bought new less than 6 months ago. Seat belt of passenger side does not function properly. Federally seat belts required to operate vehicle. I have small children to buckle into this seat. Safety concern since death could happen. Attempted to have dealer fix 3 times within the month and unable. Stop sale has been issued now on this vehicle. Completely unsafe.
The contact owns a 2025 Hyundai Palisade. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V607000 (Seat Belts); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that on a separate occasion, while trying to lock the seat belt, the seat belt failed to click and lock securely. The contact was unsure if the seat belt was secured. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the vehicle was not inspected or repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue; however, no assistance was offered. The contact parked and had not driven the vehicle due to safety concerns. The failure mileage was approximately
the abs system doesn't work properly on uneven, low speed roads. the brakes will not stop i have almost wrecked on multiple occasions. the seat belt located in the middle row, the middle seat belt gets stuck in the plastic causing the belt to stay loose. the vehicle also will shut its self down into "accessory" mode and put me into park not allowing me to move from traffic. it will either "reboot" or power off fully if i hit the ignition, i never know which it will do until it does it. it will sputter as if it is trying not to die if i am setting in a line or parked with the car on.

Since the first week of driving my vehicle in August, I have reported to the dealership that it rides fairly bumpy over any road and fails to properly break if it is a bumpy road, causing me to almost have a collision. The dealership was unable to reproduce the same issue I was having and says that my car drives just fine. No messages have popped up
- Loud rattle in back of car which was determined by Brenham Tx Hyundai dealer to be bad rear shocks on 12/4/2025. - Inspection available upon request. - Faulty shocks could fall off and cause a wreck or damage/wreck to anyone following. - Brenham Tx Hyundai performed the inspection. - No warning other than the loud rattle coming from back of car. We were told that the shocks were in inventory. Setup up repair appointment on 12/12/25. Waited 1 hour then we were told the shocks were on back order. No idea as to when they would be shipped or re chives by the dealer.

I purchased the 2025 CPO Palisade Calligraphy in April 9, 2025. Two weeks after I purchased it, I started noticing abnormal scratches and chips in the windshield. I had not driven behind a vehicle that threw rocks, I was not a beach for sand to scratch, nor had my vehicle been exposed to a creature that could have scratched the windshield. I reached out to my sales person and he said he'd connect back with me. That never happened. A couple months later, after getting my car detailed, I noticed many more scratches and dozens of chips. I reached back out to the dealer and my salesperson had left. I connected with a manager, as the chipping and scratching was causing a safety issue as I was focusing on it while driving and the way the sun would hit it caused awful glares. After speaking with
My windshield appears to be extremely prone to rock chips and cracks. My vehicle is available for inspection. My Hyundai is only a year old and has several rock chips and a large crack in the windshield. This is now beginning to affect the visibility through my windshield. The problem has not been reported to the dealer but it will be on my next service appointment. Im pretty confident that the dealer will tell me to contact my insurance. The problem has not been reported to anyone at this time. My other vehicles do not have this problem and they are a lot older than my Hyundai.

The vehicle has roughly 8500 miles on it in the first year. We have experienced multiple engine misfires due to bad ignition coils on cylinders 3 & 4. The first incident was in July 2025, and the second was in November 2025. The first incident was on the freeway, going 75mph, and the second was on a city road, going 35mph. The first incident, I brought the vehicle to the dealership, and they replaced the coil, cleaned the cylinder, and covered everything under warranty. The dealership told me this is common and Hyundai will not replace the remaining coils until they misfire, even though the dealership knows the coils do not perform well in colder weather. I called corporate regarding this issue, and they confirmed that they will not replace the remaining coils, although a mechanic at a d

I have been cut very deeply at least 6 times on the driver's door, and my wife has been cut at least 3 times (she does not ride in it as often) on the passenger side door while closing. The edge (point) on both sides is rough and sharp. I have begun carrying first aid supplies as it takes 20 mins to stop the bleeding and I am getting scars. This has been reported to the dealership but the service manager states they will investigate. I have found numerous reports online of the same issue with 2025 Palisades. This also occurred with the 2020-2022 model and resulted in recalls of some trim packages.

I have 25 Palisade calligraphy and from the last two months I almost went 7-8 times to the dealership because of the ABS issue. When going over rougher road, railroad tracks, and also uneven surfaces brake is not working at that time. It is an issue that only happens under very specific conditions like slow speeds (under 10 mph), uneven surface (gravel, railroad tracks, speed bumps, driveway entry). Acts like ABS is activated but it the car isn't acknowledging that it is. I work in Manhattan and that is very crowdy place and at that time my car brake is not working, I almost hit the crowd because my car is not stopping at the stop line, it is very serious issue, please consider it and take this feedback.
