Is there a fix? Manufacturer service bulletins

The manufacturer has issued service bulletins covering powertrain on this vehicle — documented repair instructions, service campaigns, or warranty extensions sent to dealers. A TSB isn't a recall (it's not a free safety remedy), but it's the manufacturer acknowledging the issue and how to fix it.

Service Bulletin 08-07-30-026I Sep 2024

This service bulletin provides information on some vehicles that may rock or move slightly forward or rearward while in Park at start up after cold soak. This condition may be accompanied by a clunk noise. This is a slight movement that is more often seen visually, rather than felt, when viewed from the outside and using the auto-start feature, if equipped.

During turns at low speed, vehicle slips, making it very hard to steer. It feels like the vehicle is slipping on loose gravel. Additionally, there is a low "howl" noise in the rear of the vehicle. My mechanic diagnosed this as a defect in the slip differential and recommended replacing the fluid. I have completed that service twice and the condition has not improved or gone away. *tr
