Driver side low beam light went out. Tried replacing the bulb, which was much more difficult than anticipated so, decided to take it to the Dodge dealer I purchased the car from. Received a call from the service department only to be told that it was not the bulb but was the entire wiring mechanism and the wires had "melted". I have been a loyal Dodge customer for many year, despite many difficulties with other Dodge models. Most recent, this headlight issue, not covered under any recall (even after reading all these complaints) and I am over my 36,000 mile warranty, I am extremely disappointed in Chrysler! Not only because of the cost of this repair, but now I worry that if the heat is enough to melt the wires, what happens the next time I am driving and the wires actually catch fire?

Drivers side low beam went out while driving at night. While changing the bulb, I noticed that the connector and bulb were melted, black, and brittle. The new bulb lasted two days before it went out. Contacted Dodge about the recall on Dodge charger police vehicles, but VIN specific recall does not cover my vehicle. Now I'm forced to get the harness repaired at my own expense. Does not seem right that there are so many others with the same problem, but Dodge is not fixing the problem??? *tr

Hi we need your help to warn and let the public know what Dodge is doing to there customers. About 3 months ago my 4 month pregnant girl was driving our 2011 dodger to work, she was on the high way on the center lane when the car with a warning just completely shut down. She had no control of the car, luckily the traffic was not bad that she mange to walk a cross the highway and call her father. He went to get her and pushed the car to the breakdown lane. We had the car towed to a mechanic and he said our alternator was completely burned and he said he never seen one that bad. We contacted Dodge and they told us they was not aware of any problems, but on the Dodge forum online hundreds of Dodge charger owners was having the same problem. We been contacting Dodge for 3 months now while spen

Check engine light comes on as im driving on a highway at 70mph and my car goes into "limp" mode which could of caused an accident. Cylinder 5 misfire is the diagnosis after taking it to the dealer. It appears to be a bad lifter inside of the head in which caused over 4k to fix. This is a safety hazard in which the engine failed while driving with my family inside!!

On april 4th approximately 11 pm, my 2011 Dodge charger shut down while driving I had no electrical power what so ever, no warning prior to issues, replaced the battery along with the alternator assembly, was told by Dodge no longer under warranty and there were no recalls ton my vehicle, the according to my mechanic, the alternator caused an overcharge on the battery. Luckily at this time of night there was not a lot of traffic and I was near a fire station they came out and helped me get it off the road to a safe place behind the station. *tr

Filled up with gas and had a strong smell in car after checking I found out that the gas tank was leaking around the fuel pump seal had it replaced and still leaks if you fill above 3/4 tank this is a fire hazard due to gas leaking on the ground if someone dropped a cig. On the ground where the gas is it could explode and the fumes inside the passenger compartment cant be good for your health,I feel like this is a problem that Chrysler should have to fix .I just purchased the car 11/23/2015

My Dodge charger has about a 43,000 miles and I noticed a gasoline odor in my car, so I stopped to look to see if gas was leaking for my car and it was leaking gas coming from the rear passenger side. I had my care towed to my near by mechanic shop and they found that the leak was coming from my fuel pump. I called Dodge to report the issue and they said, its not under warranty. This is unsafe to have gas leaking from a car and especially with just 43,000 miles on the vehicle.

I currently own a 2011 Dodge charger and I got into my car and noticed that all of the lights were on in the dash board from the wind shield wipers, power steering service light was flashing, brake lights I mean every light was on. I took the car to the dealer because I purchased the car december 2012 and I remember the dealer saying that I had the previous owners warranty but to find out I only had the power train warranty and was told that I had to pay $120.00 just for a diagnostic. My husband was furious and took the car to another shop and they stated that the car just needed fuses when all of the fuses were replaced all of the lights went off but the power steering went all the way out so now I have not been able to drive my car until I can get the money to see what is wrong with the

I am wondering if I have any further actions that are available to me for a recall situation. My car had a recall for the timing chain and I had the recall performed in 2014. A few weeks ago while on the highway during rush hour in a snow storm the timing chain failed and destroyed my engine. I had seconds to negotiate my lane and get to safety which I could not. The back of my vehicle was still sticking out of the right lane. I was informed by the state patrol I caused several accidents behind me and my vehicle was also almost struck by a semi truck. I do not drive my vehicle year round so between 2014 and now the vehicle had less than 20,000 miles put on it with the new timing chain. I contacted Dodge and they informed me the new timing chain had a warranty of only 2 years so all subseq
