NHTSA vehicle safety recalls during the following recall, Dodge welded all my steering arm components together so now I cannot get an alignment done correctly or, if need be, disconnect worn out parts because they welded these parts together? I was told this and shown this by kost tire company in carbondale pa 18407. They were flabbergasted by this most absurd, stupid fix Dodge had done and told me they cannot fix my truck properly? Here is the following recall info. Recall number 15v541000 recall date 08/26/2015 component steering summary:Chrysler (fca us llc) is recalling certain model year 2014 Ram 2500 trucks and 2013-2014 Ram 3500 trucks and cab chassis manufactured october 9, 2012, to july 29, 2014. The affected vehicles may have inadequate welds securing
2014 tradesman 2500, approximately 92,500 miles right front hub failed at 91000 destroying rotor, caliper, bracket, pads, ABS wiring melted. Replaced hub with usa moog brand and remaining parts with mopar genuine. Vehicle returned approximately one month later and center drag link torn from coupler adjuster due to apparent thread failure. Failure destroyed both ends of drag link from pitman arm to right wheel knuckle. Coupler adjuster threads destroyed as well. Failure occurred while exiting owners property at low speed. Fortunate for owner. This truck is primarily a highway road vehicle and has spent very little time "off-road" or on unimproved roadways. The truck is not equipped with a steering dampner shock. Truck has been towed to authorized Ram facility for further inspections a

I noticed that when steering was turned hard left or right and you moved forward, there was a clunk sound. I took into dealer, they found nothing, looking at steering rack in pinion. I noticed cracks in the welds on fram where the control arms are. That very next business day, I received recall for cracked weld on track barbracket, I have other areas that have cracked welds. I am a tool and die maker, I have been trying to get Ram to take the truck to see the problem, but have been getting run around. I feel this is a serious safety issue that could cause loss if life. My power wagon was one of the first built, I ordered it.
A week after I bought the truck the problems began, the steering started rattling every time I turned left and on a few occasions it got extremely hard to steer the truck, they rebuilt the front axle once then finally replaced the whole front axle assembly and wiring. The truck shakes bad at 65+ with the factory firestone tires I replaced them. The a/c vent controls stopped working the motors and heater core had to be replaced. The accelerator/throttle is extremely delayed almost to the point of being dangerous and when you let off the throttle the truck violently bangs into gear. The service DEF light came on yesterday 12/2/14 with 3/4 full tank. I just reached 8500 miles and these trucks are dangerous I hope Chrysler fixes these nightmare problems. *js

Tl* the contact owns a 2014 Ram 2500 diesel. The contact discovered that the front passenger side shock absorber tower was not fully welded. The failure caused the alignment to shift and wear out both passenger side tires prematurely. The weld was discovered to be fractured when the vehicle was taken to desert sun espanola (517 n riverside dr, santa cruz, nm 87567, (505) 747-8100). The dealer stated that there was no recall on the vehicle and they could not touch or repair the vehicle despite it having bumper to bumper warranty coverage. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that he would repair the vehicle himself. The manufacturer stated that they could not assist and referred the contact to NHTSA. The failure mileage was 70,000. The VIN was unknown.*dt*jb

The output shaft for transfer case has broken 2 times both with 20k miles on the truck there are numerous recalls but does not show this year and it needs fixed first time I had 18000 miles on the truck going 35 MPH the 2nd time I had 40000 miles going around 25mph
The rear differential locked up while towing our rv, which caused us to jackknife and subsequently flipping our rv. The rv is a total loss and the truck has significant damage. There was a loud pop or bang and then maybe a second or so before the rear end seized. The truck shut down during this which left us with no brakes for the rv and the truck almost flipped with rv. The mechanic at the service center showed us the spider gear shaft in the differential, which had broken loose somehow and jammed against the driveshaft gear, thereby locking the differential and powertrain. This seems to be a common problem with Ram trucks as the investigations have been going on for years. We were lucky enough to have just exited the freeway before this happened. If this had happened on the freeway, my

cruise control 2 complaints shown
Very long (2-5sec) hesitation occasionally on acceleration. Mostly occurs when leaving a stop or accelerating from very low speeds. I have had a few near misses because of this. Attempts to have the dealer remedy this issue has yielded no results.
On multiple occasions I have completely lost throttle response for up to 3-5 seconds. The most severe occasions are when trying to turn left across a 2 lane highway or changing lanes/merging in heavy traffic. The throttle response loss aka "dead pedal" is heavily documented in cummins forums is easily duplicated by barely touching the throttle, letting off for a split second, and then hitting the throttle again. These steps will put the truck in dead pedal/loss of acceleration for several seconds before power is applied and the truck starts accelerating. This is a major safety issue and one that I tried to ignore for the first 50,000 miles by being patient and leaving lots of room for merging/turning, but after a near miss accident that could have been fatal it needs to be reported so

TPMS does not allow setting tire pressures to the recommended tire setting from the tire manufacturer without triggering warning light and nag screen on startup. Constant warning light and nag screen correction will lead to driver complacency, negating the purpose of TPMS alerting the driver to a potential problem with the tires. TPMS required over inflation results in potential loss of vehicle control due to loss of traction. Abnormal tire wear due to tire over inflation increases risk of hydroplaning and loss of control of vehicle. Ram customer service has been contacted and confirmed that this problem is systemic, by design, and can not be corrected at present time. Potential fix is to reprogram BCM, allowing dealers to reset TPMS to appropriate setting for tires and actual l

When accelerating from a dead stop there is about a 3-5 second lag before I gain any speed. This is very dangerous as I have to plan ahead before I drive. If I make a mistake it could cause a severe accident.
