I began having issues with my 2016 Ford taurus sel where my back left door would not open. The electronic system in the car was not distributing any power to the back door to allow it to open. The locking knob would not rise or lower using the locking system inside the car or the key fob. Shortly there after, the other rear passenger door on the right side began having the same issue. Currently both of my rear doors cannot be opened electronically. I physically have to lean in the back of the vehicle and raise the locking knob to open the door. Pulling the door handle from inside the car will not open the door. It has no resistance to the handle whatsoever. The only way to open the locked door is to physically pull up the locking nob near the window. This has created difficulty in me trans

As my wife drove her 2015 Ford taurus down highway 395 the car suddenly cut off without any warning. Luckily we had enough room behind us before the big rig following behind could avoid us as we pulled out of the way. Took the car to Ford via aaa. They informed me it was a fuel module relay. This was a mass recall situation for Ford. Coincidentally my VIN was not on the recall list for a widely known problem. Now I'm forced to pay for repairs. I request that all cars made from 2013 to the end of 2015 or newer be placed on the recall list. Luckily it didn't result in a horrific accident.

Was driving and the accelerator/has pedal stopped working. A wrench indicator came on. The engine stopped working. I pulled to the side of the road and the engine started shaking. I turned the engine off then restarted it. It functioned fine. This happened twice in 2 days. It's the electronic throttle body. Ford won't fix the issue for free. It has 44k miles on it. An obvious manufacturer defect

2015 Ford taurus/approx 7850miles on car/6 months old....vehicle went into limp home mode at highway speed. Especially in the hands of a less experienced driver, this could cause major confusion, and possibly a major rear end collision and it is a safety concern that proves this problem still exists with this part, even though the NHTSA has "closed the file" and accepted Ford's explanation. The NHTSA should re-open this file and investigate. The folks at Ford service seem to be all too familiar with this problem. Ford must be held accountable for these potentially life threatening situations caused by these parts and they must be forced to perform a full scale recall on part at4z-9e926-b (throttle body)

The visibility provided by the head light assembly (high and low beam), is less than the standard for night driving conditions and almost non-existent when making turns on dark roads. High beams are the equivalent of dimmed low beams when driving at night. I tried replacing OEM light bulbs with sylvania HID ($112 each) despite the fact that HID light bulbs are already standard on the Ford taurus, with no results. There are plenty of forum discussions regarding this issue with most everyone agreeing on a head assembly flawed design. I noticed this issue after purchasing this vehicle (new) from a Ford dealership.
