I have had my Nissan for a year and love it. However whenever I slow down to stop, or take off, I have noticed my driver seat will glide forward and sometimes click or clunk, I thought it was just because I am a more heavier guy. I started reading many people with the same year and make nissian were having similar issues. It has been happing on and off since about march 2020 when I started to really realize it.

The car has idling issues and issues with hard vibrations in the front area of the vehicle. The RPM's were adjusted but this did not fix the issue and I was told it is the way the motor sits even though it was not having this issue when I first purchased the vehicle in march of 2018. It does not matter if the vehicle is stationary or moving or if I am turning or where I am driving. This issue persists.

The housing for the key fob does not lock in position causing the key to lose "connectivity" while driving.

I have a 3 seater, during a rear end collision, the middle seat swung back and locked with the 3rd seat. When the seat locks there is no space between the seats; if some is sitting in the back the legs will be crush during a collision. My 5 year old granddaughter was seating in her car seat and by a blessing of god, she was able to raise her legs because they are short. The middle seat is not properly locked.

For the past year, the front driver seat will jolt slightly forward upon braking, and jolt/click back upon accelerating. I began to notice it when I would start the car and start driving, because the seat would move back ever so slightly, even though the seat hadn’t been moved prior as I am the only one who drives the vehicle. And then upon braking, the seat would move slightly forward. It is a very unsettling feeling because it does not feel like the seat is secure and if an accident were to occur with enough force, it feels like the seat will come off the rails completely. The car has automatic, cloth seats on driver’s side. When the car is at rest, and you are sitting in the driver seat, if you move your body, forward and back, the seat feels unsteady and moves (it never moves up or dow

Tl* the contact owns a 2016 Nissan rogue. While driving 35 MPH, the vehicle hydroplaned and the passenger side tires hit the curb. The passenger side air bag deployed. A police report was not filed and there were no injuries. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The failure mileage was 1,400.

12/21/2022 Crash ODI #11498419.0

On September 22, 2022, my car was hit from the rear. The car hit me so hard that their front end was totalled. On Nov. 28, 2022, the car dealership ( Nash Chevrolet) was able to fix my car from the accident and after fixing my car, they called to tell me my air bag light had came on. They couldn't find the issue, didn't think it was from the accident and stated that Nissan would need to fix it. Nissan is refusing to fix the air bag unless I pay for it out of pocket.

Last year I was rearended while waiting to make a left hand turn and my airbag didn't deploy. The impact of the accident was hard enough that my l-5 vertebrae was broken and displaced a centimeter away from severing my spinal cord. It didn't occur to me until my deposition and the lawyers were asking me why the airbag didn't deploy that there could be a problem. I was sitting stationary on hwy 80 e in statesboro georgia waiting to make a left turn into babcock and more home furnishings when I was struck from behind. There is no turn lane it's a 4 lane highway and I was in the left lane with my turn signal in.

I purchased a 2016 rogue from cool springs Nissan on 11/16/2016 and took delivery on 11/17 2016. Upon arrival to take delivery we noticed that the ars light was on and contacted the salesman to see what the problem was, he took the new vehicle to the service dept. And was told that the unit was safe to drive so we took the vehicle thinking we were ok. I came home and read the manual and realized that the airbags were actually not going to work if we were in a wreck. I called the dealer service dept. The first thing the next morning and was told to bring it in on 11/19 and they would try to fix. Upon arrival at dealer we were then told that the vehicle should have never been allow to leave their lot. They put us in a rental. They returned the car to us 11/22 and we guess it was fixed

I have been having issues with the transmission in my 2016 Nissan Rogue. At the date of the filing of a class action lawsuit regarding this issue there were 38 complaints lodged with the NHTSA regarding this same issue, for just that year of the model. That total does not include any complaints regarding the Pathfinder, Altima, Infinity, Versa, or Sentry, or prior or consecutive years of the Rogue, even though there are multiple complaints regarding the issue. The NHTSA does not seem to be concerned with the safety of those that have filed complaints regarding this issue, as they have not ordered a recall. I was even informed earlier that there were no complaints on record, so either the representative did not look closely enough, or at all. To explain the issue all you have to do is look

The transmission on this car began slipping and refused to go into gear. It clunked and bucked along at low speeds. Once in drive it was fine, but would not go into another gear. We were able to get it home and there is has sat until 12/28/20 when we were able to get it towed. When we tried to get it into gear, it would not move from park to neutral even. We did not go to a dealer as they were twice as far as the mechanic we found. Nissan refused to consider a recall or issue even with a settled lawsuit on other CVT transmissions. They wouldn't even pay for the tow and simply said "sorry".

Driver side aircon is cold and passenger side is hot even if both setting is set to 90 degrees. The dealer did not mentioned this when we bought the car. Front vent blowing cold air as well which is very dangerous when driving cold conditions.

12/21/2022 ODI #11498385.0

Driver side blows cold air: the plastic connected to the air mix motor control will damage over time and it's very expensive to replace the air box assembly. It's not safe to drive during winter.

The contact owns a 2016 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to the dealer for the recall repair of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V024000 (Electrical System). However, a month later, the vehicle failed to start. The contact's husband replaced the battery. The vehicle restarted; however, the message "FEB Malfunction" was displayed and an unknown warning light was illuminated. Additionally, the vehicle alarm engaged intermittently. The contact stated that her husband had started the vehicle to warm it up and as he was walking towards the vehicle, he smelled a burning plastic odor. The contact's husband then sat in the driver's seat and saw smoke coming from the footwell. The contact's husband then saw flames and immediately exited the vehicle. The contact stated that her hu

I kept hearing a loud clicking or popping noise coming from the front of the car when turning left or right to maneuver in and out of parking spaces. I took the car to the dealer only to be told it was a bent piece of metal by a rotor. I drove the car from the dealer still hearing the popping noise. I called Nissan usa and got a case number. The noise got louder so I took the car back to the dealer on 12/16/17. The dealer told me it was the entire front suspension that had to be replaced. Miles on the car are approximately 24,000 and covered under the 36,000-mile warranty. I am glad the car is fixed but I am concerned that a $35,000 vehicle is requiring such major work when only a year and a half old.

Tl* the contact owns a 2016 Nissan rogue. While driving and making a right or left turn, the vehicle made a knocking noise from the front driver side. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the suspension strut mount, bearing, and both side coils needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. In addition, while driving approximately 60 MPH, the vehicle pulled to the left. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 3,796.

During the winter months, when the temperature is below 30 degrees and the car has been sitting all night, the vehicle has to be run about 5 minutes or one can't go over 15 mph. The RPM's will run at a steady 2000 until the car is warmed up and then can be driven without difficulty. I cannot give a particular date on this occurance. I bought used and happens every winter. Took into Nissan dealership and they cannot find anything wrong.

Upon driving the vehicle on the freeway or highway at an accelerated speed, the hood shakes up and down rapidly, and appears as though it could potentially pop open. The hood is locked when driving and there have been no accidents on the vehicle. Nissan has had multiple recalls of their hood latch for the mid-size cars like the Altima and also the Pathfinder, but I believe the Rogue is also affected. I first noticed it in 2020, and it has been this way for a couple of years, and when I asked the dealerships, they told me there’s been no recall for the Nissan rogue so I had always thought it might be normal (albeit concerning); it wasn’t until this past May when a friend who worked at Nissan mentioned about the latch recalls for the other cars, that I decided to look into it.
