I first noticed an issue with my car on October 16th. ALL the dashboard lights came on as if the car had a new battery while I was driving. My Honda dealership said: Explanation: fuel system too rich due to faulty fuel injectors. Repairs to be completed: replace fuel injectors, gaskets, spark plugs All suggested repairs were done because I need a car The cost, $2,557.28 I filed a case with Honda Corporate and they said it was due to my car's age and linked to maintenance. I've always had my CRV serviced at Honda dealerships and my car is only a 2018.

Honda gas in oil. When in for their recall. Oil was changed and a/c module replaced. I never checked the oil for gas but feel this problem must cause some engine damage. Would like to see a formal recall with proper corrective action. Dealer seemed evasive when asked to explain the problem, no big deal just gas in the oil.

October 2018 we took our new c rv on a trip to nashville, tn from traverse city, mi. The check engine light came on and the oil can icon lit up. I called the Honda dealer where I bought the c rv from and they had no idea what was going on. I got out and checked the oil and found it high. I brought the Honda to a quick lube to check it. They changed the oil then sent me on my way. After arriving back home tc a few weeks later we got a recall letter from Honda. On wednesday, december 26th, williams Honda in tc did the recall work. On thursday my wife got in the vehicle to go shopping and the heater would not work. She called the Honda dealer and brought the Honda to them. They said that they did not cause the heater to not work with the recall repair. After doing something, the he

While driving on I-95 over an open road with no overpasses in georgia with no traffic in front of the vehicle for at least 20 car lengths, the sun roof exploded. The car had 2400 miles on it and the sun roof had never been operated. The sky was clear and the morning temp was in the upper 30s. The roof cover was closed. The glass blew outward from the center with a tremendous bang causing me to come close to looking control. I pulled over as soon as I could. Most of the glass had blown over the car on to the roadway. Some of the fractured edges blew back on to the cover. This would have stuck the driver, a front seat and rear seat passenger with significant force had the internal cover not been closed. There was a good chance the driver would have lost control had he been injured by th

Manufacturer Recall NumberKGC NHTSA Recall Number 23V-858 I have been trying desperately to get my car serviced to address the safety recall, and many car dealerships are hanging up on me when I try to schedule appointments. My car has been stalling while driving as a result of this recall issue. Please help as I now fear for my safety driving my vehicle since Honda locations are not helping me resolve this issue.

While driving at about 53 mph on the highway, the collision braking system suddenly beeped, and the ”BRAKE” indicator on the dashboard came on by itself. There was no car in front of me for at least 100 feet, nor was there any car on the sides. It was a false positive. While the brake was not otherwise activated, and the car did not stop, it was quite disconcerting. This should be checked out. It was a clear evening, around 8pm.

Warning lights for multiple (possibly all) systems begin appearing and all ADAS including traction control is deactivated. The condition clears eventually in its own after fuel up, possibly several days later. Dealership attributes conditions to bad fuel injector with no other fuel related symptoms because the condition includes and engine code for either a faulty fuel injector or fault AC control module.

While driving (road trip 500 miles round trip), all the dashboard lights turned with no real indication of what the issues was. I pulled over to see if there was anything noticeable and did not see anything exteriorly nor once I opened the hood of the car. I continued my drive home (remaining 100 miles or so) and once I parked my car in driveway, I noticed a strong smell with black smoke coming from exhaust pipe with black oil at the end of my tailpipes. My car is currently at dealers getting looked at and they recommended changing my fuel injector and spark plugs, which they completed ($2,000) and I AM STILL having issues.!!! Doing my research online I noticed that there was a recall of this vehicle in China but not in the US, which is unacceptable. Something needs to be done ASAP!

The vehicle has a "feature" which rolls down the windows automatically upon pressing the unlock button on the keyfob twice and then holding the button. On multiple occasions the windows have rolled down without the owner's knowledge when keys are carried in pockets, purses, etc. This is considered a safety issue due to risk of windows unrolling in inclement weather and damaging the interior, or due to risk of an unauthorized person obtaining access to the car by reaching through the now opened window and simply depressing the interior unlock button. There is no way to disable this capability.

The vehicle has 54,000 miles and just this week the steering is sticking at the center position and it requires more effort to pull the steering wheel left or right. It’s a constant issue when driving over 40mph! I went on line to several forums and it seems this issue is occurring on 2017-2018 CRV’s with similar mileage of 50k on the vehicle. My VIN isn’t showing a recall yet on this, so I felt it was important to notify the NHTSA because I feel this may lead to a significant safety hazard. I have an appointment next week to have a Honda dealership look into the steering problem. I also saw that several of the CRV owners have spent $5,000 out of pocket to fix the sticking steering! I’m hoping Honda understands my model vehicle is suffering from a significant safety problem and puts out

I had buckled in my seat belt, and then started my car. The “seat belt unfastened” indicator turned off. After driving a few yards, the seat belt spontaneously popped out of its socket. The seat belt warning light and alert sound then turned on and I stopped and clicked my seat belt back in the socket. It appears that I may not have “clicked” my seat belt into the socket the first time. There may be a defect here with the seat belt warning light. If the seat belt “male” makes sufficient contact with the seat belt “female”, the warning light turns off. But really, the warning light should only go off if the male clicks and locks into the female.
