If this clip becomes unseated, there is a potential for this harness to make contact with the seat track during seat movement. While this potential contact has not been observed to date in any vehicle, it could result in damage to the wires inside the harness, which includes wires connecting to the seat belt anchor pre-tensioner, the seat-mounted side airbag, occupant classification sensor (OCS), and/or other seat functions such as powered movement.
