This has happened to me on 6 different occasions. While driving at slow speeds, and applying the brakes, the vehicles ABS system kicks in for no reason. However, while doing this, the vehicle is not slowing down and feels as though it will not stop. The only thing that stops the vehicle is the emergency brake that kicks in when the sensor feels I am getting too close to the car in front of me. …

Many times while my car was set to the adaptive cruise control the car wouldn't stop or break at all although the car in front of me braked and stopped completely. I had to slam on the break because the car wouldn't stop on its own.
