My 2014 Chrysler 200 is subject to the s61 recall because the air bag and seat belt may not deploy or operate properly in an accident. Fca says it has no fix for the issue, but is comfortable with placing my young daughter's life at risk every time she drives. Apparently it is cheaper for them to pay off in a death than really take care of the issue. They clearly can do something since they offer reimbursement if you have already had the issue fixed and they no longer use that faulty device in their new vehicles. Chrysler's response to wait and see if something happens is totally unacceptable. Chrysler should be forced to take these vehicles off the road and provide compensation to owners even if that is a deal to trade at the customer's benefit for an equivalent car without this issu

The car has heat on the drivers side but does not heat or defrost on passenger side of vehicle, therefore cannot see out of passenger side windshield took to dealer and they say that the heater core needs replaced, $1500.00 later. I have researched online and this is a very common problem with the Chrysler 200 vehicles. I don't understand why Chrysler is therefore not responsible for replacing the heater cores.

I purchased a 2014 Chrysler 200 convertible in late august this year, the headlights are so dim in low beam that the vehicle is dangerous to drive. This vehicle is still under factory warranty with only 24k miles. Also when turning, you cannot see road. Have read on internet many complaints of owners. Chrysler has no solution. Driving in low beam is like driving with just parking lights on. I've only had this vehicle 3 months, and I am afraid to drive it at night. Many, many owners have same complaints on internet sites. When I purchased this vehicle, I had to take it in for a right side front alignment,, now I know why, you can't see the road when making turns. There needs to be an investigation regarding the defective design of these headlights. *tr

Driving on a well cleared interstate in light snow conditions, the rear of the vehicle sways back and forth like there is no traction while the front end has traction and tries to maintain traction. Once stabilized and only driving 20-25mph when going over a bridge or under and overpass, the little bit of moisture in those areas makes the rear of the car slide side to side. Driving over expansion joints in the highway makes the rear of the vehicle jump to the right. Driving is stabilized on completely dry roads or in town snowpacked but treated roads. The vehicle is unsafe to drive on interstates in even the mildest of any type of adverse weather. The car cannot be driven over 25 MPH without out the rear end swaying back and forth. I was driving on the thruway in upstate ny, two different lights came on and a noise sound came on one was a thermostat and the other was an h looking light and then my vehicle shutdown in the middle of traffic. A few weeks ago I had went to the Chrysler dealership and they completed an oil change and stated that I needed new tires. I've never had in issues in the three years I've been financing this vehicle. I'm still under contract and I'm not able to drive vehicle. Had it towed to dealership and they states it was the engine which would run me about $4800. As an military veteran I am on a set income and I'm not able to afford to fix this issue. Please help me to explore options if you are able. Thank you, [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia),
